Training times for the first part of 2025 are as follows:

Outwood Grange full pitch: Tuesday 7th Jan to Tuesday 11th March from 8-9pm for the Masters

Outwood Grange 1/3 pitch: Friday 10th January to Friday 14th March from 6-7pm for the Under 14s

At the club in January:
Monday: Under 7s, 6pm
Tuesday: Under 12s and Girls, 7pm
Wednesday: Under 11s, 6pm and Under 10s, 6.30pm
Thursday: Under 18s, 6.30pm
Saturday: Open Age, 10am; Under 9s, 10am; Under 12s, 10.30am

*There will be no training at the club on Saturday 11th January when the Open Age will be playing against Hunslet ARLFC in Round 1 of the BetFred 2025 Challenge Cup.*

NEXT GAMES FOR THE MASTERS

The second outing of the Masters 2025 season will be on Saturday March 8th ath Kippax Welfare, taking part in the Yorkshire Clubs season launch festival. They will be playing three games and take on Eastmoor (13.15); Kippax (13.45) and Dewsbury (14.15).

OPEN AGE NEWS

Open Age training will be at Stanley Sports & Social Club tomorrow - Saturday 15th February - at 9am. All players are welcome - new and old! Indoor training is at Outwood Grange on Tuesday at 8pm.

Once again, we will be running two Open Age teams - the 1st team will be defending their YML Premier Division championship and the Reserves will be joining the Yorkshire Mens League Division 6.

News about 2 upcoming friendlies for you - on 1st March there's an away game against Bentley ARLFC and then a home match against Eastmoor Dragons on the 8th March.

1st MASTERS GAME THIS SEASON

Stanley Rangers Masters start their season with a home game against neighbours Eastmoor Dragons Masters on Saturday 2nd March at Ranger Park, kick off to be confirmed. Come on down and support this great local derby!

JUNIOR TEAMS IN ACTION

Our Under 8s and Under 9s were busy at the half time festival at the Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity game on the 15th February. And our Under 11s were at the Featherstone Rovers festival on Sunday 17th February. All the teams are looking forward to the start of their seasons.

JANUARY

MASTERS TRAINING RESTARTS IN 2025

Training for season 2025 will begin on Tuesday 7th January. The Masters have the 1G Astro booked at Outwood Grange Academy from 8-9pm which will be shared with the Open Age and the Under 18s. Please bring £5 on your first session to go towards the hire. This will be a one-off payment.

The sessions will run for 10 weeks, after which the training will revert back to training at the club.

Unfortunately due to the adverse weather conditions we have had to postpone the BetFred Challenge Cup 1st round match against Hunslet ARLFC on Saturday 9th January.

The game will now be played on Saturday 18th January at Ranger Park with a 2pm kick off. We are also looking for a match sponsor. Anyone who is interested please contact us through our Facebook page or contact one of the coaches.

Come along on the 18th and let's give the team our massive support!
