Rangers got their first win of the new season with a 30-24 home win over Elland after being 18-0 down in the first half. As the hour approached, Elland were still ahead 24-12 but a determined Stanley worked hard to score 18 points in the last 20 minutes. Rangers tries came from Joel Lord, Adam Womack, Billy Cooper, Danny Duce and Joel Marsh, plus five goals from Danny Grice.

Elland's try scorers were Steven Brocklehurst (2), Harry Fairbank and Chris Middleton with four goals from Joseph Nicholson.

This weekend - Saturday 22nd April - Stanley are away at Ryland Sharks, kick off 2.30pm.
