In the battle of the bottom two teams, Gateshead Storm beat 15-man Stanley Rangers 40-4.

Rangers started brightly with Robert Hartley scoring the first unconverted try. However, Gateshead took control with a brace apiece for Sean Pyle and Michael Mitchell and single tries for Dan Barran, James Poocklington annd Dom Mewes. Zach Clark added 6 goals.

The next match for Stanley Rangers will be on Saturday 23rd June, at home to Millom who are currently fourth in the league.
