In a bottom-of-the-table-tussle, Rangers hosted Salford City Roosters but the visitors led 24-0 at half time and it was only the in the last quarter of the game that Rangers scored twice, through tries by Oliver Tobin and Robert Hartley.
Salford's lead was built by tries from a hatrick by Kenny Sackfield, a brace by George Kemp and single tries from Paul Morgan and Steve Barry. Paul Morgan also kicked 8 goals.
