22.09.07

Stanley kept up their 100% away record this season with a 32-22 win over Crosfields.

A six minute try from Richard Cattley , converted by Danny Grice, put the first points on the scoreboard for Stanley. The home side replied with a Phil Bannon try that was goaled by Alan Redmond. A second try from Ben Walker and one for Gareth Whitehead made sure that Stanley went in at half time with a 14-6 lead.

In the first minute of the second half Richard Hough pulled back a try but a James Robins try ensured Stanley kept their lead. However, Crosfields maintained the pressure with a second try from Phil Bannon which Jim Williams goaled. A second try from Stanley's Gareth Whitehead which was again goaled by Grice saw off the Crosfield's challenge. Craig Noone grabbed a late try for the home team which was converted by Williams but a fourth goal from Grice ensured a good away win.
