15.09.07

Stanley's third game of the season, saw their unbroken record fall to top of the league Millom.

The final score of 14-46 does not reflect the efforts of Stanley who were on level terms in the first half until five minutes before half time. However, Millom hit a purple patch just before half time with a try and three goals from Evans and a try from Craig Wilson, giving them a 22-8 lead at the interval.

In the second half, Evans went on to score three tries and nine goals. Millom's score was added to by another try from Craig Wilson and one from Brad Crelin. Stanley's points were added to by a Craig Rhodes try, just before full time, converted by Grice.

Next weekend sees Stanley travel to Crosfields.
