Stanley Rangers made the long journey to Cumbria to take on Wath Brow Hornets who are in Division One of the NCL but were unable to overcome such strong opposition, losing 0-54.

This was the first home game in six weeks for Wath Brow who went into the half time with a 20-0 lead. Tries cam from Kevin Thompson, Kevin Williamson, James Toman and Andrew Hocking despite the best efforts of Stanley's Danny Grice and Mark Robinson.

In the second half, Wath continued adding to their score with further tries from Thompson, Ryan Amor, Hocking and Paul Byers with three goals from Amor. Wath now go into Round One of the competition.
