Under 11s Wildcats Match Reports, 2007-8 Stanley Rangers U11s Wildcats v Wibsey U11s This game saw Stanley Wildcats continue their 100% record for the season with an emphatic win over a big strong Wibsey side. Stanley were quickest out of the blocks with a try in the first minute and they contiued in this mood right up to the half time break. Stanley were very quick on attack and very strong in defence when tested by Wibsey. In all Stanley scored 4 tried to Wibseys 1 in that first half leaving the score at 22 points to 4. The second half saw a massive defensive effort from Stanley and they kept the visitors scoreless. Further tries from Stanley enabled them to run out convincing winners with a final emphatic score over Wibsey. This performance was as good as Stanley have played all season and the decisions for Man of the Match were very difficult to decide. The Parents Man of the Match went to Rachel Proctor for a strong attacking performance and the Coaches Man of the Match went to Joseph Sampson for an equally impressive game. The Magic Moment award went to Dominic Dorgan for an outstanding defensive effort and one tackle in particular with a ball and all effort pushing the Wibsey attack back by about 10 yards single handed. The try scoreres were as Tom Shippen (2), with 1 each for Joeseph Sampson, Lewis Gower, Alex Hobson, Rachel Proctor and Ben Fisher. Four of the tries were converted by Lewis Gower, Dominic Dorgan, Alex Hobson and Ben Fisher. |
