Under 12s Match Reports, 2007-8 Cottingham U12s 14 v Stanley Rangers U12s 19 Stanley Rangers U12s travelled to Cottingham, Hull in Round 1 of The Barla Cup. Rangers dominated the first half with tries from Liam Green and Jordan Howden, converted by Charlie Ledger giving a 0-12 score at half time for Rangers. Cottingham punished Rangers poor defence in the second half by taking the lead by one point despite a drop goal from Charlie Ledger. With a nail biting 40 seconds to go, 5CC Ltd Player of Match Jordan Howden displayed a dynamic display of pace and vision to power over the line with Charlie Ledger converting to take Rangers through to Round 2 winning 14-19. |
