Stanley Rangers U12s began their season with a friendly when they welcomed the Lancashire team Wigan St Judes.

Jordan Smith was first out of the blocks to power over the line to score the opening try.The game was evenly matched throughout with Judes using their forwards to keep Rangers on the back foot, but fast hands from Rangers helped produce a try from Liam Green.

 

A 5CC Ltd Player of Match performance from influential captain Jordan Howden produced two tries for Rangers with quick thinking from Joe Crossland to bag another with two conversions to secure a 24-20 win for the hosts.
