Under 16s Match Reports, 2004-5
The Under 16s continued their winning form with
an impressive 38-12 win against Churwell Chiefs which saw Australian
schoolboys Raymond Garrett and Robert Chelepy debuting for Stanley
in their visit to England.
After a long spell of away games, Stanley's home
game saw them open up a 22-6 half time lead with some flowing rugby,
which included a disallowed try.
Damien Thomas (2), Jordan Horsfield, Declan Bogg,
Garreth Firm, James Davey and Matthew Dey all scored tries with
Australian visitor Robert Chelepy adding four goals and Kieran Hyde
adding the other.
