Adam Milner

Adam Milner, Stanley Rangers Under 16s player, toured France with the England Schools Under 16s squad this Easter. Matches against the French Under 16s team were played at Tonneins and St Paul de Fenouillet.

after narrowly losing the First Test 26-24, The England team managed to turn the series around. Adam started both games at hooker no.9 and he scored the first try of the series driving over the line from dummy half.  He received one of the Man of the Match awards which was selected by the Catalan Dragons.

This meant that the English boys had to win the Second Test by more than 2 points or else the French would win the series. England took a 10-0 lead at half time. After the break the French pulled the scores back to 10-8. but then a whitewash of tries came from England making the final score 36-8  which won the test series for England. Adam played in the second game and was unfortunate in having a try disallowed.
