Under 16s Australian Exchange Evening, 2005
The Under 16s team held a presentation evening for Rockhampton State High School year 11 students Raymond Garrett and Robert Chelepy who had played for Stanley Rangers Under 16s from December 5th whilst on a school exchange with Outwood Grange College [ Australian exchange ].
Robert and Raymond were staying with Outwood Grange College pupils Taron Wildey and James Davey and attending lessons with them at the College. During their stay they played with the Outwood Grange College rugby league team and also attended training sessions at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Castleford Tigers
During the evening Wakefield Trinity Wildcats players Kevin King and Mark Appleyard (former Stanley Rangers players) were on hand to hear the boys each give a speech about their stay in England. They were presented with caps and pennants from Stanley Rangers and signed shirts from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
