Join the M62 at Junction 30. At the Lofthouse interchange take the M1 North. Follow the signs for A1 North and keep on it when it changes to A1(M). Leave the A1(M) at junction A1(M) J49 and straight ahead into A1 (Leeming Lane). Continue straight onto roundabout direction RICHMOND, PENRITH, [A66(W)] SCOTCH CORNER, [A6108] BROUGH. After 480 yards take the 2^nd Exit off the roundabout into A66. Turn right onto Caldron Hill. Continue straight onto Main Street - you are entering Cockermouth. Continue straight onto Main Street ( Cockermouth ).
