The Open Age team held their highly successful season with
their presentation evening on October 28th, celebrating their
incredible young players, their outstanding retiring players and
paying tribute to the great head coach Roy Sampson, retiring at the
end of this season.
Roy took over Rangers Open Age team after
covid and worked the team up from Division Five to to top of Division
One. He leaves the club in great hands and in a great position to
progress.
Three of the Open Age players retired and have long
and massive careers with Stanley - Danny Grice, Brendan Shepherd and
John Nunns. They have contributed so much in their playing careers and
still have a huge amount to give to the younger players.

Gledhill's Butchers)
- John Holroyd Award Nominee - Joe Binns (sponsored by
McDermott Health and Safety), 1st nominee
