Stanley Rangers ARLFC
Open Age  Presentation Evening 2023

The Open Age team held their highly successful season with their presentation evening on October 28th, celebrating their incredible young players, their outstanding retiring players and paying tribute to the great head coach Roy Sampson, retiring at the end of this season.

Roy took over Rangers Open Age team after covid and worked the team up from Division Five to to top of Division One. He leaves the club in great hands and in a great position to progress.

Three of the Open Age players retired and have long and massive careers with Stanley - Danny Grice, Brendan Shepherd and John Nunns. They have contributed so much in their playing careers and still have a huge amount to give to the younger players.
Awards on the night were awarded to:
  • Player of the Year - Charlie Ledger (sponsored by Plumbtec boiler solutions)
  • 2nd Player of the Year - Jordan O'Neill
  • 3rd Player of the Year - Pat Harrison (sponsored by McDermott Health and Safety)
