Open Age Match Reports, 2005-6 Cutsyke 26 v Stanley Rangers 16 Disappointment for Stanley as Cutsyke ran out the winners 16-26 in this quarter final tie. A disappointing first half for Stanley saw them trail by 22 points which left them with too much to do to turn the tables. A fightback in the second half was led by Craig Rhodes who scored a try after a period of sustained pressure, with Gareth Whitehead converting. Cutsyke then grabbed their final score - an unconverted try - before James Robbins sprinted 40 metres to score out wide, but the conversion was missed. The final Stanley try was scored by Andy Cattley, converted by Robbins to bring the final score to 26-16 to Cutsyke. Stanley's man of the match was Craig Cawthray for his work rate.
