PETITION TO KEEP SPORT ALIVE IN STANLEY VILLAGE, 2004

• Stanley Rangers and Stanley Cricket Club provide facilities for over 250 youngsters within the local area.
• Volunteers give freely of their time to train and develop these youngsters within a sporting environment which, hopefully, will create a sense of purpose for the future.
• Stanley Sports and Social Club is a non-profit making organisation and all monies received from the sale of liquor is ploughed back into the club to run rugby and cricket teams and improve facilities.
• Stanley Sports and Social Club is in danger of losing its liquor licence. If this were to happen it will struggle financially to support the present number of rugby and cricket teams at the club.

We the undersigned support Stanley Sports and Social Club in its aims and ambitions and wish it to retain its liquor licence to be able to continue to carry out the above.
