Today our  Under 12’s travelled to Leeds to take on the Leopards,
again Stanley faced a tough task against the top of the league side
with only 8 players against 12.

Rangers started brightly putting pressure on the Leeds sides line but
against the run of play Leopards struck with 2 quick tries.8-0.
Rangers worked hard through impressive forwards Austin, Davenport and
Harrison making good metres, a strong run by Aiden dragging in
defenders and quick hand from Harry, Alfie and Tyler send Archie in
		  the corner, 8-4.

Leopards hit again before the half time whistle to lead at the break,
		  12-4.

Rangers struck early in the second half with Alfie diving over close
home and converting his own try 12-10. Some smart defence from Archie
and Jack drove the Leopards player into touch and meant Stanley could
break through, Alfie, Austin, Harrison and Jack to get us close to the
line so Harry could power over, again converted by Alfie 12-16.
The game was in the balance and Stanley battling hard gave Alfie
another chance out wide powering over to make it 12-20.

With 5 minutes to go and the game almost won, Stanley powered down the
field hungrier for more points lead to a powerful 20 metre drive from
Austin powering over for his 1st try in the red and black shirt,
converted well by Alfie to leave the final score, 12-26.

Coach Paul again said how proud he was "when facing more men we showed
what we are capable of - just imagine when our numbers improve, the
lads are working hard in training and that’s showing on the field well
done boys and enjoy the win."
