Under 13s Match Reports, 2004-5
A comfortable win over Normanton 44-10 saw Stanley
Rangers Under 13s safely through to the final of the Wakefield and
District U13s Cup.
An outstanding performance by Billy Harris whose
attacking runs saw him cross the line six times gave Stanley a comfortable
lead. Player of the Match Danny Ansell and Jacob Crossland controlled
the game and were at the forefront of play.
With great contributions from the rest of the
team, the try of the match came when Crossland's speed took him
through a gap where he guided a precision kick for Declan Carney
to score in the corner.
Stanley will face Upton in the final, who beat
Eastmoor Dragons 42-22.
