Well another outstanding  performance  from our U13s and an  away trip to 2nd in the league Garforth Tigers. The boys  turned up full of hope and anticipation, could they make it three wins on the trot? A tall order, but one they were  going to put to the test.

Stanley started off slow as they always do and were caught napping, first blood to Garforth 4 points. Stanley defended  and forced an error and started the attack. We kept our composure and with some forward play and our loose forward Oakley Fletcher, broke Garforth's line to score close to the uprights 4 points and a conversion by Ben Lease 6 points to 4. Garforth  continued their onslaught,  but Rangers defended well until Garforth  broke Stanley's defence and another 6 points. Stanley stood strong and it wasn't long before Stanley were in front from a try from Marlan Jatta finishing the first half 12 points to 10.

Second half and Stanley were on fire striking first, 6 more points from Oakley Fletcher  and Ben Leese. Could they keep Garforth  out and actually  turn them over? Garforth fought back and it was end to  end for a while with both teams making and losing ground. Finally a break and Stanley scored in the corner another 6 points from Marlon Jatta and Ben Leese 24 to 10 could this be it? Garforth dug deep and came back strong with 60 yard forward run to score under the posts 24 .16. Garforth continued to keep their pressure on and another try and 6 more points 24 .22.  Stanley fought back and held on until Garforth broke their line in the dying minutes of the game to score again. Final score Garforth  26 . Stanley 24.
