Today brought us all back to playing the game we all love.

We started off strong against a team that gave us a few problems to deal with but we held strong and got into a commanding lead with tries from Oakley, Josh and Marlan. Some brilliant runs from Oli Keaney, Ben Buckley, Oli Morley and Bobby, and some good thinking from Ben Lease and Matthew. Some great defensive work when we got pinned on our line and an absolutely brilliant tackle from Marlan and Oakley preventing a try in the corner. Unfortunately, Marlan suffered an injury and had to go to hospital for an assessment where I'm sorry to say due to a head injury he can't play for three weeks. He is back home and on the mend. Our new player Brad had a good game and got stuck in like all the boys. Joe, Will, Morgan, Bailee and Josh had some great play.

In the second half tries from Oli Keaney and Ben Leese getting over the line and Oakley Fletcher sealed the win for us, with a 36-14 score.

Thanks to all involved especially Rich for all his hard work with the boys. Keep up the hard work, attend training and the sky's the limit for you. Believe in yourselves and don't quit. It was great to see the maturity coming out today and Ben Lease controlling the game . Just like to add that Ben Buckley and Adrian had a really good game today and like all the other boys contributed to us winning our first game back.
