             Under 14s Match Reports, 2004-5 
            
             A last-gasp drop goal by Matty Wildie gave Stanley 
              Rangers Under 14s a dramatic win over an in-fom Stanningley in a 
              27-26 win. The game was marred by a serious ankle injury to Stanley's 
              Jake Brown who fractured his ankle. 
            Stanley were trailing 16-4 at half time but hit 
              back in the second half to take the lead 26-22 with five minutes 
              to go. However Stanningley then retook the lead with an equalising 
              try which they failed to convert. Wildie's drop goal sealed the 
              win for Stanley in the last minutes. 
            Top tackler Matty Wildie earned Player of the 
              Match with his score of two tries and three goals. Other tries came 
              from Carl Harrison, Daniel Dunn and Leyton Sharp, his first for 
              the club.
