Stanley Rangers U15s had an excellent 28-14 victory over last season's champions, Hunslet Parkside. Parkside took the lead but Stanley responded with a try by Jason Tingey and then an error from the home side led to a try from Sam Taylor.

In the second half, Stanley extended their lead through a Tingey try, converted by Matthew Dey, followed by a solo effort from James Davey, again converted by Dey. Parkside replied with a converted try but then spilled the ball from behind their own try line to gift a try to Stanley skipper Gareth Firm. This was converted by Kevin Eadie and although Parkside scored a late consolation try, victory was Stanleys.
