Scarborough Pirates U15s 12 v Stanley Rangers U15s 20
07.03.04

Stanley Rangers U15s kept their unbeaten run of wins intact with a 22-8 victory away to Scarborough Pirates at the Olivers Mount pitch.

At half time Rangers led by 6-2 against a robust Scarborough side. Try scorer for Stanley was Gareth Firm, converted by Kieran Hyde. Pirates had a late penalty to peg back two points.

After the break, Stanley spread the ball wider and the tactic paid off eventually but only after the Pirates had twice levelled with a try against the run of play. Firm scored a try, converted by Hyde to restore the Stanley lead and after Scarborough equalised, Rangers pulled away with a decisive penalty conversion by Hyde followed by a Sam Taylor try again converted by Hyde.
