Stanley U16's have carried on where they left off in their league fixtures with another hard fought victory. Featherstone proved a handful for most of the game pushing Stanley's defence all the way. With Robinson topping the tackle count once again it was never going top be the day for Featherstone with Wray, Jeffcote, Brickwood, Grice and Wildey all excelling in defence to keep their tryline safe. Stanley were trailing 2-0 when Crawley played some good rugby and scampered through a gap to score a fine try which was goaled by Boucher. Stanley then came under the cosh from Featherstone for the remainder of the game and after bombing at least 4 scoring chances and having 2 tries disallowed finally sealed the game on the final whistle with a try by Wray again goaled by Boucher. Playing his best game for a while Dean Jeffcote took the man of the match award with Haigh, Boucher and Crawley pushing him hard.

Stanley's next fixture is at home to local rivals Eastmoor on Sunday 9th Feb.
