Under 18s Match Report Stanley Rangers progressed to the final of the Unison Cup with a 52-6 victory over a depleted but plucky Normanton Knights side. Stanley scored ten tries with Danny Gant opening the scoring with the first of his two tries as powerful running from Chris Grice played havoc with the home defence. Grice eventually made a hat trick of tries and shared Man of the Match with Liam Crawley, who was playing his first game after a long injury lay-off. Further tries from Stanley came from Crawley (2), James Brickwood (2) and Matty Percival. To their credit, Normanton finished strongly and crossed for a consolation try in the closing minutes. |
