A try by John Nunns two minutes from time gave Stanley their third consecutive win of the season, when they beat Crosfields 16-12.
Crosfields began brightly with tries from Craig Noone and Matt Thomas in the first seven minutes of the match, plus a goal from Danny Inman to give the Warrington side a 10 point lead. Stanley fought back with tries from Mike McDermott and Andy Gollings with a conversion from Gareth Whitehead.
A Whitehead penalty broke the deadlock on 58 minutes as Jimmy Molyneux led the home side, only for Inman to level with a penalty six minutes later. The winning score came just two minutes from full time when John Nunns raced down the touchline to score and snatch victory and the two points.
