As the promotion race hots up, Stanley Rangers moved into third place with this hard-earned win over struggling East Leeds.
It was East Leeds who went ahead in the eighth minute with a try from Green which was converted by Parnell. Just before the half hour, Nunns crashed over for a try, goaled by Danny Grice which levelled the score at 6-all at half time.
In the 49th minute, Richard Cattley broke the deadlock with a try and then Nunns scored his second try on the hour. Matty Firth was a constant threat before Danny Firth grabbed the killer try. Another try from Cattley took the home team's score to 24 points.
This win moves Stanley Rangers upto third place in the league. Next week Stanley are at home again against Heworth, just below them in fourth place - a great match in prospect.
