Stanley's fourth successive win 32-6 over Shaw Cross Sharks kept them in third place in the table.

A 12 minute try from Carl Clawson, followed by further tries from Chris Grice and John Nunns with a Kevin King goal gave Stanley a 14-6 lead at the interval. Shaw Cross Sharks' points came from a John Rourke try, goaled by Ben Diskin.

The second half was slow to start but three tries in nine minutes saw off Shaw Cross's challenge and took Rangers to victory. Prop Craig Rhodes forced his way over in the 56th minute, then back row man Richard Cattley and prop John Gledhill added further tries goaled by Gareth Whitehead and Kevin King.

This weekend Stanley Rangers travel to close neighbours Eastmoor Dragons.

Stanley: Tries - Clawson, Grice, Nunns, Rhodes, Cattley, Gledhill. Goals - King (3), Whitehead.

Shaw Cross Sharks: Tries - Rourke. Goals -Diskin.
