Stanley Rangers' took their first points in the new season with an exciting win over Ince Rose Bridge with two wining tries in the last five minutes of the game.
Stanley began brightly with try on five minutes from winger Joel Marsh, goaled by Kevin King. Rose Bridge came back with a try from Malone, converted by Sutcliffe, followed by a second try from Cunningham. However Rangers Liam Crawley crossed the line on 21 minutes. Ince again came back with a Kenny try converted by Sutcliffe to make the half time score 16-10 to the home side.
Within two minutes of the start, with promising work from Stanley's Matty Firth, Callum Hatter scored a try, goaled by King to level the score and a penalty from King gave Stanley the lead.
Sanby retook the lead for Ince with a 63-minute try before Kevin King nipped over and added the extras with five minutes remaining. In a thrilling finale, Craig Williamson scored for Stanley in the last minute giving Rangers their first win of the season.
Stanley travel to Oldham St Annes next weekend, 18th September.
