Stanley showed the effects of their mid-week derby at Oulton Raiders, coupled with injury problems. and ran up against a determined Ince Rose Bridge side who needed a win to give them any chance of promotion and the final result was 8-52 to the visitors.
Ranger began with an opening try to Craig Williamson and two Danny Grice goals. Ince opened their account in the 19th minute with a converted try from Martin Butler, goaled by Sutcliffe. A further try from Boyd was goaled by Sutcliffe and Sutcliffe himself then crossed the line with Adam Driver goaling. At half time, the score was 8-18.
The second half began with further Ince tries from Hoctor, Porteous, Jamie Malone, Cunningham, Kieron Mallone and Clossick which sealed their win. This win for Ince moves them into second place above Rochdale Mayfield.
