Stanley Rangers 24 v Eccles 30

Rangers had the advantage over Eccles but the visitors fought back and eventually took the two points with a 24-30 win.
Stanley had a good first half with a 20-4 lead at one time. However Eccles clawed back the deficit until they reached 20-16 at half time. In the second half it was nip and tuck with Eccles just taking the two with a 24-30 win.
Tries for Stanley came from Liam Crawley (2), Joel Marsh, Oliver Wood and David Baxby with Danny Grice kicking two goals. For Eccles the try scorers were Michael Krog, Adam Taher, Hayden Candland and five goals from Mike Carney.
Next weekend - 9th June - Stanley are at home to Oldham St. Annes.
