Stanley Rangers 44 v Millom 12

A determined Stanley Rangers side cemented their stay in Division One with a 44-12 win over Millom.
Tries from Jackie Hogan and Paul Hughes gave Stanley a good lead before Millom's Dawson replied with two tries, converted by Brooke, brought them level. Richard Cattley scored a try just before half time put Stanley ahead.
After the break, Chris Grice touched down, converted by brother Danny, began to advance Stanley's lead and then a further try from Liam Crawley on the 51st minute began to move the points ahead. Further tries from Paul Hughes, Jackie Hogan - his second - and Craig Rhodes 12 minutes from the end completed the score.
This win has secured Stanley Rangers' place in Division One. On the 27th October Stanley play away at Featherstone Lions in the Challenge Cup Qualifying Round 1.
