Stannlngley came to Stanley and went away with two points after a 36-22 win.
Scott Childs had an early try goaled by Danny Grice after just 60 seconds at the Arthur Miller stadium. Stanningley replied with three tries from Andy Wormald, Sharp and Nathan Phipps, who also landed four conversions. Oliver Wood replied with a try for Rangers which was unconverted.
Shaun Abson scored just after half time, moving the visitors ahead, but Sharpe completed his hat-trick putting Stanningley well ahead. Joe Marsh scored on the 63rd minute, converted by Grice but then Stanningley's Ben Smith and Wormald sealed the victory with back-to-back tries.
This coming weekend - 11th August - Rangers are at home to 7th-placed Wigan St Judes.
