A late penalty from Danny Grice gave Stanley Rangers the crucial one-point difference that gave them their first win of the season over Eccles 18-17.
Rangers' points came from tries by Joel Marsh, James Jenkiw and Liam Crawley, with Danny Grice converting two.
Eccles led 12-10 at half time and posted tries from Mike O’Boyle, Mike Foster and Martin Judge, Andrew Muscat kicking two goals and Steve Barry successfully kicking a field-goal.
Next weekend - 23rd March - Rangers are away at Waterhead.
