Hunslet Warriors built on a 12-4 half time lead to beat Stanley Rangers 24-10 but not before Rangers had kept the game to 12-10 in the final quarter.

Hunslet opened the scoring on 23 minutes with a try by Connor Spencer, followed by a second from Adam Smith four minutes later. Rangers bounced back from the 12-point deficit with a try on the stroke of half time for winger Joel Marsh, making the half time score 12-4.

Ten minutes into the second period a try by prop Kyle Sampson was converted by Danny Grice. However it was the home side who moved ahead with tries from Caldon Bravo, improved by Gary McClelland. A final try in the last minute from Connor Spencer, goaled by McClelland gave the home side the two points.

Hunslet Warriors: Tries - Spencer (2); Smith, Bravo. Goals - McClelland (4)

Stanley Rangers: Tries - Marsh, Sampson. Goals - Grice.

Stanley Rangers Man of the Match were Simoni Carr (1st); Craig Rhodes (2) and Billy Griffiths (3).
