OPEN AGE PRESENTATION EVENING NOVEMBER 2013
The Open Age teams enjoyed their presentation evening for season 2012-2013 in a packed clubhouse on Friday 8th November.
Chairman Wayne Grice opened the evening with a summary of the season for both the 1st and 2nd teams. He emphasised the great team spirit at the club and the way all the players in both teams have stepped up when called into the teams. The players are proud to play for the club and for their team mates and that has showed right through a season of mixed fortunes. He thanked Adam Robinson for taking on coaching the 1st team at the beginning of the season and then for Craig Westmoreland and Mick Loveday who came into the club from the coaching staff of the Bradford Bulls Under 16s and Scholarship.
Stan Matthews announced the 2nd team awards after giving his summary of their season. Again he emphasised the great team spirit of the players. The Peter Brooke Man of Steel award was presented by Peter's son and daugher The awards were:

The 1st team coaches Craig Westmoreland and Mick Loveday then gave their summary of the 1st team's season when they came to the club as new coaches. Both Mick and Craig emphasised how hard the players had trained and played and that they looked forward to a successful next season. The awards were given as follows:

Finally, Barbara Rawlinson, Open Age secretary, gave her thanks to the players and helpers who had contributed so much to the work of the team during the season. There were gifts and personal thank-you cards for each person.
The evening was rounded off with a fantastic buffet, enjoyed by everyone.
