A hat-trick from Richard Cattley wasn’t enough to stop Stanley Rangers slipping to a 46-20 defeat at Rochdale Mayfiield.
A try from Joel Marsh and two Danny Grice goals completed the Wakefield sides scoring, but it was in vain as Mayfield cut loose to run in seven tries.
Sam Butterworth contributed two tries and seven goals and there were further tries to Todd O’Brien (2), Simon Moore (2), Rob Kershaw and Dan Kaufman.
