Stanley entertained league leaders Kells and in an engaging match lost out 16-28.

Stanley took the lead with an early James Senkiw touchdown, before adding further points through tries to James Bell, Richard Cattley and John Nunns.

Kell's stand-off Ross Gainford was on top form with a 20-point display – two tries and six goals – and three-quarters Paul Lowery and Daniel Joyce adding a further try each.
