Leigh East moved to within a point of Stanley Rangers after beating the Wakefield side 42-8. Leigh were 18-8 ahead early in the second half but stepped up a gear to add further points
Jake Beaumont, Chris Penn and Mark Cahill all helped themselves to a brace as Adam Holland was on target with seven goals.
Prop Dean Balmer crashed over to complete the Leigh points tally, whilst Rangers replied through James Bell and Daniel Asquith.
