Stanley Rangers won their mid-table battle with Waterhead 34-28.
Jack Shepherd’s 76th minute try proved to be just enough for Stanley as it added to earlier efforts from Oliver Wood, James Senkiw, Liam Crawley and Carl Hughes, plus five Daniel Grice goals.
Waterhead responded with four-pointers from Daniel Maher (2), Peter Davies and Darren Nixon, all of which were improved by scrum-half Jamie Mayall.
