Open Age Match Reports, 2006-7 Stanley Rangers A 21 v Oulton Raiders A 10 Stanley Rangers A went through to the next round of the Alliance Cup with a 21-10 win over Oulton Raiders A, in a bad-tempered clash. Adam Ives opened the scoring for Stanley with a try and then a drop goal from Johnny Molyneux extended the host's lead to 5-0. Oulton hit back, with two tries to take a 10-5 advantage. However after that it was all Stanley, with Gareth Rawlinson and Graham Stanley both crossing the whitewash. Both tries were converted by Molyneux. Michael Rollinson completed the scoring with an unconverted try, making the final result Stanley A 22-Oulton A 10. |
