Outwood Grange Year 7s reach Wembley after beating Kelvin Hall from Hull 35 to 0 in the semifinal in Rochdale

Outwood Grange Colleg finalists

The Carnegie Champion Schools National semi finals for Year 7-10 were played at Hopwood Hall College, Rochdale on Tuesday 28 and Thursday 30 April. Outwood Grange College beat Kelvin Hall 35-0 and the other semi final was won by Castleford High who beat Pickering 14-12.
 
The Winners of the Year 7 semi finals will play in the traditional curtain raiser to the Carnegie Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on August 29.
 
This long tradition of playing the Year 7 schools finals before the Challenge Cup Final provides a remarkable opportunity for a group of youngsters to showcase their skills on a massive sporting stage.
