The 10s had a super win against Drighlington who are a fantastic side full of quality players. The boys all performed very well resulting in a good win for the Rangers.

 

Harry Davey starred in both attack and defence showing what copybook tackling is all about. Mathew Sowerby, Reece Matysiak and Niall Fitzsimons all tanked the ball up and with Matty Hobson and Thomas Sowerby out wide we created many try-scoring chances. Nick Fowler and Harry Smith both excelled in defence, and Sam Tovey showed how he can play anywhere on the park.

 

Brandon Hill continued with his great form, along with Jordan O'Niel Jacob Barnes and Ryan Ellison. The game as always against Drigh is a well played, tough but fair encounter, and I have utmost respect for all the players, coaches and parents from that club.

 

The fixture was not one we issued any medals, but Harry Davey stood out as the Coaches' choice for special mention.
