In what can only be described as atrocious weather conditions our boys capped a fabulous half season of played 14 won 14, scoring 592 points and conceding 194, and a big fat well done is in order.

 

The game suited Thornhill and not our fast open style, but nevertheless the Stanley forwards led from the front. Tommy "steam train" Gant Jordan O'Neill and Mathew Sowerby were awesome in attack always looking for work, and constantly hitting the ball up into the big Thornhill defence.

 

Tommy Gant was opposition Man of the Match, with Jordan O'Neill taking a close vote to beat Mathew Sowerby for the parents man of the match, with Sowerby taking Magic moment for some outstanding runs. I cant really say how pleased I was with all the players but the forwards all played well.
