Stanley were looking to improve on last week's performance at home to local rivals Eastmoor Dragons and improve they certainly did, with both teams playing some excellent rugby in what turned out to be a thrilling draw. The level of commitment shown by both teams in both attack and defence provided the spectators with a very enjoyable game of junior rugby to watch and meant that a draw was a fair result in the end.

Stanley looked the stronger team in the opening exchanges and went into an early lead with Eastmoor looking the stronger heading towards half time. Eastmoor continued to edge a close contest before Stanley came back at them late in the game.

Man of The Match Owen Trout managed to bag three tries, one in the last minute to tie the game, with Alfie Goddard grabbing the other. Man Of Steel went to the impressive Jake Smith, with Liam Brady deservedly taking the Top Tackler award.

Outstanding effort went to Prop Ryan Snowden for an all round good performance and quick thinking when under pressure on the last tackle. There were also good performances from newcomer Oliver Hudson and second rowers Brett Miller and Karsten Wilson.
