Stanley slipped to a disappointing home defeat against local rivals Shaw Cross.

Stanley were not at their best throughout the game that was dominated by both offences. Stanley opened the scoring, but every time they got their noses in front Shaw Cross levelled things up, and then in the second half managed to just pull away from Rangers to grab the victory. Try scorers for Stanley were Man of Steel Owen Trout with a brace, Man of the Match Cameron Lees and hooker Ben Green. Top Tackler award went to Stephen Gibbs who topped this week's tackle count.
