Under 10s News, 2006-7 Stanley Rangers U10s Shirt Presentation Stanley Rangers Under 10's were presented with their new away fixture kit at Thornes Park Stadium on Saturday 16th December. In a combined sponsorship deal that has been secured from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats for the season 2006/2007, the Under 10's have been provided with a full 2006 Wakefield Trinity kit, with the Stanley Rangers Crest in pride of place. The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats squad turned up in force, hot foot from training, with coach John Kear. The team's other joint sponsors were also present. The 5 Star Fitness company is owned by Huddersfield Giant Ryan Hudson, Wakefield’s Wayne Pryce, and Featherstone Rovers Jamie Field. The reverse of the Shirts will be sponsored by Capricorn Connection of Ossett. Darren Pitchforth, the owner, is a keen Wakefield supporter, and has recognised the importance of local rugby partnerships, and has taken the chance to come on board with the Under 10's. Representing the club at the photo shoot were Martin Sowerby who has been a tireless supporter of the Under 10s and has worked hard in the establishment of this historic sponsorhip deal and Under 10s coach Steve Parker with Tony English and Kev Stansfield are the energetic and enthusiastic trainers of the team. Stanley Rangers club was also represented by Emma King, the Under 8s coach, who has just received an award from the Countess of Wessex for her voluntary work for the club. The event was captured by the Wakefield Express and it is hoped that the Rugby League papers will also feature their photos.
