Stanley Rangers Under 11s had a diffIcult first game against East Leeds at home. The East Leeds team came with only 11 players, and Stanley struggled all game to get the continuity to allow fast flowing rugby. The game was a stop and start affair, and with injuries was changed from 11, to 10, to 9, to 8, and back up to 11 a side, and this was very frustrating for all of us.

The game however was played in very good spirits, and Mathew Hobson after excelling in defence and attack was awarded the Opposition Man of the Match.

Thomas Sowerby's first try was a perfect pin point move by Tom Sale, that resulted in a full length of the field try, and was awarded the Magic Moment.

The whole team gave their all, and as such the Merit was awarded to the entire team.
