Stanley Rangers won a very tight game against a very good Oulton side who compete for the full 50 minutes of every game.

 

Levi Johnson again led from the front with a sensational performance in defence, and was awarded the Opposition Man of the Match for his efforts.

Tommy Gant won the Coaches' Man of the Match award and produced his best defence and go forward all season, and was the best forward all game. Tommy in this mood is more than a match for any other front rower.

 

The Coaches' Merit went to Thomas Sowerby who failed to score in a game for the first time in over 2 1/2 years, but produced a vintage performance at full back, taking every high ball and returning with interest. 

 

Jacob Barnes won the Magic Moment, and was great at hooker, distributing with precision and speed.

 

This was a very good team effort, and a very good game to watch.
